By Rail
Leicester's Railway Station is on the East Midlands Mainline, and is a few minutes walk from the Town Hall.
On arrival, walk out of the Station Concourse and turn right, cross the main road into Granby Street.
Walk along Granby Street to Bishop Street; then turn left.
The Town Hall and Town Hall Square will be on your right

By Car
Regretfully car parking is very limited at the Town Hall, however disembarking of passengers and loading may be undertaken on the Town Hall Square by prior arrangement. Pay and display on street car parking is available for up to 2 hours; alternatively use one of the many pay and display car parks throughout the City, or the park and ride sign posted on the M1.

From M1 North
Leave the M1 at Junction 22
Follow the A50 to Leicester City centre after passing the Reg Vardy Fiat motorcar dealership and All Saints Church.
Take the A594 South (a right Turn)
Go through the Underpass and keep in the Left hand Lane
Continue past the (Magazine) on your right Photo1
Take the next left turn onto Pocklingtons Walk, indicated by the A594 bending right and the Council Offices tower block ahead Photo2
Follow this road then turn right at the Lamplighters public house.
The Town Hall is located within the pedestrian zone before you Photo 3,
Once within the pedestrian zone turn immediate right onto the Town Hall Square. Photo 4
From M1 south and M69
Leave the M1 at Junction 21
Take A5420 to Leicester City Centre
Turn right onto the A47 City Centre keep in Right hand lane
Follow the one-way system, which takes you around the Holiday Inn
Keep left and follow the A594 South
Continue to follow the A594 South
Continue past the (Magazine) on your right Photo1
Take the next left turn onto Pocklingtons Walk, indicated by the A594 bending right and the Council Offices tower block ahead Photo2
Follow this road then turn right at the Lamplighters public house.

At the outskirts of Leicester, follow signs A6 Leicester City Centre
Continue as A6 Loughborough below

Follow A6 to Leicester City Centre
Once past Reg Vardy Volkswagen motorcar dealership and the Church of St Margaret Follow the A594 South (a right turn)

A47 Peterborough/ Rutland
At the St Georges way Roundabout take the fourth exit and follow the A594 Ring Road
Once over the Flyover, follow the A594 south
Go through the Underpass and keep in the Left hand Lane

From A6 Market Harborough
Follow the A6 to Leicester City Centre, at the midland Railway station follow the A594 central ring road north and turn next left onto Granby street. (Blunt's Shoe shop is on the right hand corner) Turn left after the Grande Hptel onto Belvoir Street. At the statue of John Biggs (right palm outstretched) turn right onto Pocklingtons Walk
Follow this road then turn right at the Lamplighters public house.
