Lord Mayor’s Appeal 2011-2012 Royal Anglian Regiment

Lord Mayor's Appeal 2011-2012

The Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Robert Wann, has adopted the Royal Anglian Regiment Benevolent Fund (Leicestershire) as the mayoral charity during his year in office. The fund has been set up to help serving and former members of the Royal Anglian Regiment and their dependents who are in need.

The Royal Anglian Regiment, who are our County Infantry Regiment, have a proud history with The Royal Leicestershire Regiment “The Tigers” as their forebears.  This Appeal will help support those soldiers from the Regiment who come from Leicester and Leicestershire and have been injured in the line of duty, many with long term disabilities and those, whom for whatever reason, fall on hard times when they leave the Service

Donations to the Lord Mayor's Appeal can be made either online at www.justgiving.com/lordmayorsappealranglian or by cheque, made payable to "The Lord Mayor's Appeal Royal Anglian Benevolent Charity", and sent to the Civic Support Office, Town Hall, Leicester LE1 9BG
