Probably a son of Simon Leverich or Leverick of Leic., living 1318, and a descendant of William fit Leveric, the first recorded alderman of the borough (No. 1). He was admitted into the gild 1314-5, was five times returned to Parliament for Leic. and sat at Westminster during his mayoralty and later at York. He resided in High Street, now Highcross Street, near the Highcross. According to a Plea Roll he died about 1368. His son and heir, Simon Leverich of Leic., was living in 1415-6.
