1393 THOMAS de WAKEFIELD (2)

1393 THOMAS de WAKEFIELD.

(62)

Perhaps a son of William de Wakefield, M.P. for Leic. 1348; was one of the chamberlains 1377-8, a warden of the gild of Corpus Christi in 1392 to which brotherhood he and his wife Avice, were considerable benefactors. He represented the borough in the Parliament at New Sarum 1384, was again M.P. 1393 and 1397 ; again mayor in 1405, and appears to have died about 1410. His widow remarried before 1414, John Loughborough of Leic. (No. 87).

1405 THOMAS de WAKEFIELD. (2)

(King Henry IV again visited Leic. 6 September 1406)
