He was one of the bailiffs in 1424,5, M.P. for the borough 1420 and 1431, and witnessed deeds of a later date. We learn from the De Banco rolls (Nos. 760 and 761) that he died about 1450 and Margaret, his widow, died a year later. Their daughter, Matilda alias Mawde alias Margaret (see Visitation Pedigree of Dannet 1619), according to a Fine of 1411, married (1) Richard Dannet of Bromkinsthorpe, Leic., and (2) Thomas de la Hay, esq., having issue by the former.
