Believed to have been a descendant of William de Grantham of Leic., innholder, 1364. He was plaintiff in an action for wrongful detention brought about by Sir Richard Hastings, Kt., of Kirby in 1435 (De Banco roll No. 699) ; was M.P. for the borough 1449, and died about 1480.
