Probably a descendant of Richard de Braunston, mayor in 1387. He was a steward of the fairs 1449~50 and 1452~3, and died about 1460. During his mayoralty, 29 April 1450, Parliament assembled at Leic. for the last time, at which King Henry VI attended and remained here for several days.
