Parentage unknown. He was again mayor in 1492, and a steward of the gild of Corpus Christi in 1493 ; died about 1496, buried at St. Martin's. By Elizabeth, his wife, daughter of (--) Chaweband of Wigston Magna, he left an only daughter and heiress, Johanna, who married John Belgrave of Belgrave, gent.

Arms of Swyke:-Or, on a fess gules three fleur~de~lys of the field, in chief as many fleur~de~lys of the second. Plate 1.
