Son of John May of Leic., mercer, 1476 ; born about 1458, admitted a freeman 1478~9, was one of the borough coroners in 1500 and a warden of Corpus Christi gild in 1513. He died in 1517 leaving issue a son Robert, and was buried in the Lady chapel of St. Martin's church. Will, dated 7 July 1517, was proved at Leic. by Johanne, his widow and executrix.
