Eldest son of John Gaddesby of Leic. 1495, where he was born about 1485 ; was enrolled a freeman 1506-7, mayor's clerk in 1511, one of the chamberlains in 1522, and died about 1550, buried at All Saints'. His grandson and namesake, Robert Gaddesby, the last male representative of this branch of the family, was buried at All Saints' 3 June 1580.
