Son of AId. Waiter May, mayor in 1507 ; born about 1495, was a coroner in 1541~2 and died in 1547, buried at St. Martin's. Will, dated 4 December 1547, was proved in the P.C.C., London, in January following.

(King Henry VIII died 28 January 1547. His son and successor, Edward VI, was crowned 25 February following).
