1609   THOMAS PARKER, (Maltster).

The Parkers were an old Leic. family. The above

alderman, a son of John Parker, was baptized at St. Martin's, Leic., 11 September 1564. He was admitted a freeman 1598,9, occurs as a plaintiff in a Chancery Suit about 1590 and was mayor's chamberlain in 1601. He died leaving issue in 1623, buried at St. Martin's 4 April. Will, dated 31 March 1623, was proved at Leic. four days after his funeral.
