Second son of John Mabbs of Leic., was born about

1545, admitted a freeman 1566,7, elected a chamberlain 1581, an alderman 6 August 1591, a coroner 1585 and a bailiff in 1603. By Amy (--) his wife, who prede, ceased him, he had a large family and his descendants were still living at Leic. a century later.

AId. Mabbs was buried at St. Martin's 5 November 1623. Will, dated 19 March 1622,3, was proved at Leic. in 1623 by his son John.
