1668 THOMAS OVERING, (Ironmonger).

Second son of Thomas Overing of Leic., brewer, was baptized at St. Martin's 3 January 1629,30, admitted a free burgess of the borough 1652,3 and appointed a  member of the company of the twenty~four, i.e. alder~ men, 1664. He was an ironmonger and about 1666 issued a tradesman's token j married and had issue.

AId. Overing was buried at St. Martin's 11 August 1678, will proved at Leic. shortly afterwards.
