1713   ARTHUR NOONE, (Baker).

Eldest son of Arthur and Mary Noone of Leic. and

descended from William Noone living at Leic. in 1586 ; was baptized at All Saints' 28 December 1646, admitted a freeman 27 March 1671, a councillor 1679, chamber~ lain 1693 and sworn an alderman 20 September 1700. In 1707 he was one of the borough bailiffs, a freeholder at Leic. 1719, married and had issue.

AId. Noone died at the advanced age of ninety~one and was buried at St. Martin's 16 January 1736~7. Will, dated 7 January 1736~7, was proved at Leic. 2 April 1737 by his daughter Elizabeth, wife of Joshua Goodrich.

(Queen Anne died at Kensington Palace 1 August 1714.

George I, of the house of Hanover, proclaimed king at Leic. 3 Aug. 1714, and crowned at Westminster 20 October following).
