1763 HENRY GUTHERIDGE, (Brazier).

Second son of AId. John Gutheridge, mayor in 1726 ; was born 25 and baptized at St. Martin's 28 September 1713, admitted a freeman 21 April 1737, elected a cham~ berlain 1748 and a bailiff in 1762. He died unmarried and was buried at St. Martin's 17 February 1775, aged sixty~one. M.I. there. Will, dated 4 October 1773, was proved in the P.C.C., London, 9 March 1775. He left most of his real estate to his niece and executrix, Mary, wife of Caleb Lowdham of Leic., gent.

"In memory of Henry Gutheridge, gent., one of the aldermen, and once mayor of this Borough. He departed this life Feb. 14, 1775, in the 62d year of his age."
