1790 JOHN EAMES, (Cheese Factor and Broker).

Second son of John and Mary Eames of Leic.; born 11

January and baptized at St. Martin's 5 February 1739, 40, admitted a freeman 18 April 1765, one of the borough chamberlains in 1778; married and left issue. Descend, ants still living.

Mr. AId. Eames died in the parish of St. Pancras, London, 25 February and was buried at St. Martin's, Leic., 1 March 1811, aged seventy-one. Administration granted at Leic. to Mary Eames, his widow, and Joseph Bays 26 October 181l.

 

Population of Leic. 1791, estimated at about 14,000.
