A member of an old Leic. family, being the fourth son of Isaac Harris of this borough, hatter. He was born in 1755, enrolled a freeman 26 March 1784 and elected one of the chamberlains in 1795. He died; apparently unmarried, 11 November 1818, aged sixty-three, and was buried in St. Margaret's churchyard. M.I. there.
