The Nunneleys were living at Kettering and 11arket
Harborough in the eighteenth century; the above, named gentleman being the eldest son of Joseph and Elizabeth Nunneley of Leic., where he was born in 1805. He entered the council with the newly formed corporation in 1836, having been returned for All Saints' Ward 26 December 1835, appointed an alderman and J.P. in 1841. He married at St. Werburgh's church, Derby, 27 October 1830 Sarah Boden and had issue. The latter part of his life was spent at Little Bowden, near Market Harborough, as a Stock Broker, where he died 5 September 1871, aged sixty,six. M.1. in the Independ, ent chapel at Market Harborough. His will was proved at Peterborough 1 November 1871 by Sarah Nunneley, his widow, and Richard Toller of Knighton, gent., the executors.
