Domestic Burglary
The map opposite shows the distribution of domestic burglaries across the City for the period April 1997 to September 1998.
The data originated from Leicestershire Constabulary’s Crime Intelligence System which records incidents that are reported to the Police.
A number of areas stand out as experiencing sustained levels of burglary activity. These include areas in the inner city such as St. Matthews, and Highfields as well as estates on the edge of the City such as Beaumont Leys.
