Income Levels ( CACI Paycheck)
The map, Income Levels, is derived from the CACI’s PayCheck Household Income Model which has been used to estimate the income for every postcode in the Country. In order to create the PayCheck model a variety of datasets were used such as lifestyle data, information from the Census and market research data.
The data presented here shows the contours of the Average Household Income per 1991 Census Enumeration District. The analysis indicates that the households with the highest income levels are located in the south and east areas of the City. Several of the Council’s housing estates such as North Braunstone, Stocking Farm/Mowmacre reveal themselves as areas with low incomes.
Interestingly, the concentration of student accommodation may well be the explanaton for the drop in income in the middle of East Knighton. This mirrors a similar dough nut pattern in the map of domestic property values
