Welcome to Leicester City Council's Arts Services.
We aim to deliver the best available arts service for the whole of Leicester's community, accessible to everyone. We are justifiably proud of the innovative work that the community, in partnership with the City Council provides for the citizens of Leicester and we hope you can benefit from the services we offer.
Arts management, located at New Walk Centre, deals with strategic development and policy, as well as overall direct management of the Arts Services and delivery of further arts services with partners including the voluntary sector.

Services and venues directly managed by Arts Services are The City Gallery, De Montfort Hall, Festivals & Events Unit including Music and Popular Music Development, Participatory Art and Public Art.
Also directly managed by Leicester City Council, the Leicester Creative Business Depot (LCB Depot) at the heart of Leicester’s emerging Cultural Quarter, seeks to support, stimulate and develop the city’s creative industries.
