This course is ideal for people who work with young children from ages one to eight or those working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.
The course focuses on emergency scenarios faced by professionals, including teachers, au pairs, play group leaders and child minders looking after young children.
The course covers all essentials areas including:
- First Aid Kit
- Action
- Childhood conditions
- Choking
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation
- Seizures
- Bleeding and Burns
- Asthma and diabetic emergencies
During this one day course candidates are continually assessed by the trainer. All successful candidates will be awarded a certificate and wallet sized plastic card detailing their qualifications.
This course can only be delivered to private groups of 10 or more people.
