Leicester City Council is looking to assist shop-owners in the Golden Mile area of Leicester, (from Abbey Park Street to Lanesborough Road) with a new grant scheme to help improve the appearance of shop fronts.
Alternations to shop fronts, including the provision of shutters and the installation of signs require planning permission from the city council.
