The Policy Statement is based on the Authority's aim to protect the health, safety and welfare of people at work, and to safeguard others, principally members of the public, who may be exposed to risks from the way that work is carried out on premises which are the Authority's enforcement responsibility. The purpose of this document is to state the authority's general policy with respect to health and safety law enforcement.
