Leicestershire County Council Artworks Collect
Before 19th December 2008

Are you a teacher interested in resources to develop creativity in your subject area?

Would you be interested in working with an artist to deliver a session with one of your classes?
The Leicestershire Artworks collection has funding from Renaissance to work with 4 teachers in non-art subjects in January – March 2009. Using original art works from the Artworks collection, artists will work with teachers to develop classroom sessions linking art with another subject. This short project aims to explore how Artworks can support teachers in delivering inspiring class sessions in non-art subjects, contributing towards
cross-curricular creativity in schools.

Help make museum websites more useful for teachers - incentive offered!

We are currently carrying out some research to understand what teachers need from museum websites, and how useful websites in the East Midlands are for teachers at the moment.

To do this, we need to speak to teachers. Would you be able to help? We want to speak to you for about half an hour, and also ask you to have a quick look at some websites. You would be offered a cash incentive of £30 as thanks for your time. We would need to speak to you before 21 November.
