The Democratic Support team administers the Cabinet and Committees of the Council.
Democratic Services Officers are responsible for:

Producing meeting agendas

Taking minutes and recording decisions

Providing advice on the law and practice of meetings both to Councillors, officers and the public.
Democratic Services Officers can also advise you on your rights to attend meetings and how to go about submitting petitions and asking questions at meetings or any other query you may have about how Committees work.
