The Task Group has begun investigating a variety of themes relating to the Adults and Housing services.
The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board has approved the following topics for scrutiny for 2007/8. Member led Task Groups will investigate the following topic areas and report back to this Board.
Theme | Theme Description | Status |
Allocations | To improve the information available to communities relating to the housing application and allocation process and to highlight any significant anomalies. The Task Group is looking at the way the Council's Housing Allocations policy is communicated to residents. The Task Group is keen to hear from people who have recent experience of being on the Council's Housing Register. If you are on the Council Housing Register, or have you recently been offered a council tenancy we would like to hear from you. External Cash Collection | To explore the implications of introducing an external payment facility, including the likely impact it will have on the Cash Offices at the Local Neighbourhood Housing Offices. | Investigation Completed. |
Learning Disability | To investigate a number of areas arising from the Inspection report - 'Inspection Of Services For People With Learning Disabilities - February 2007' | Investigation Completed. |
