Councillor John Blackmore - Task Group Leader: Children and Young Persons
The Task Group Leader is currently undertaking a joint review with the Environment and Sustainability Task Group on Building Schools for the Future (BSF). This review, which is scheduled to conclude around June/July, and which will feed directly into Leicester City Council’s Business Case for the next phase of BSF, will look primarily at how Leicester will harness the opportunity of BSF to drive down carbon emissions from schools and promote sustainable behaviours among pupils and their communities.
