Any decision which lies with the City Mayor or Executive team Mmember can be taken as an individual decision.
o Decisions can be taken in private though there are additional regulations in relation to notice for ‘key’ decisions. Key decisions are those which are defined as especially significant and are explained here.
o Regulations and Guidance from Government require that certain processes are followed. The accepted approach to show this is via a written report and decision notice.
o For non 'key' decisions, the decision notice and report should be published (unless the report contains private information) as soon as practicable after the decision is made.
o For 'Key' decisions the report must be published 5 clear days before the decision is made (unless the report contains private information) and the decision notice as soon as practicable after the decision is made
o All decisions are subject to call-in unless defined as urgent.
