Thursday 5th May was our biggest Election Day in years as the city went to the polls to elect a mayor and vote for their local ward councillor.

There was also a referendum that day for an Alternate Voting (A.V.) system to be possibly introduced in the UK for the next General Election. Plus a Parliamentary By-election for Leicester South.
