The activity can be used for assessment or reinforcement of children's understanding of number sequence and counting to 10. It is a useful introduction to addition by using coins to support the counting activity.
The screen displays a set of 1p coins together with a set of cards of differing values. The child counts the coins and then clicks on the card that shows the matching value. Clicking on the correct card will reveal the next set of coins/cards and so on until the activity is completed.
An incorrect move will prompt the child to try again. If they seem to be experiencing difficulty a message will appear asking them to seek help. On completion of the activity a final score appears.
