The activity can be used for assessment or reinforcement of children's understanding of number sequence and 'one less than' using numbers up to 10.
The screen displays a set of randomly placed number cards from to 1 to 10 with one card highlighted. The child has to locate and click on the number card that is 1 less than the highlighted one. Clicking on the correct number will reveal the next random screen and so on until the activity is completed.
An incorrect move will prompt the child to try again. If they seem to be experiencing difficulty a message will appear asking them to seek help. On completion of the activity a final score appears.
