VEHICLES from days gone by will be taking centre stage at a festival of vintage transport later this month.

Abbey Pumping Station Museum will be hosting its annual Vintage Festival on the weekend of Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25.

The event will showcase steam traction engines, road rollers, vintage vehicles, live music and the museum’s magnificent Gimson beam engines in full steam.

The event takes place from 1pm to 5pm on the Saturday, and 12noon to 5pm on the Sunday.

Admission costs £3.50 for adults, with children getting in free, with a small charge for train rides.
