A number of linked artworks themed 'Pedestrian's Friend', celebrating the activities that occur along the length of New Walk.
The artist's intention is for the installations along New Walk to cut across the visual axis created by the New Walk route, to draw attention to activities, spaces and places. As such, it forms a less formal and more 'experiential' set of interventions to complement and gently contrast with the restoration and new street furniture of New Walk.
