Locations:
Millennium Cones: roundabout on the Junction of Maidenwell Avenue, Keyham Lane Hamilton.
Listening Thrones: outside outside Hamilton Library and Learning Centre.
Humber Stone: on the Maidenwell Rd and Kestrel Lane roundabout into the new Hamilton residential area.
By Bus:
Catch the No. 58 bus from Leicester City Centre to Tesco Superstore. The ‘Millennium Cones’ can be found on the main roundabout from which Maidenwell Road, Keyham Lane, Hamilton Way and Hungarton Boulevard lead off, as you approach Tesco. Alight from the bus at Tesco’s bus drop off point. The ‘Listening Thrones’ are situated behind the bus drop off point, you will see a roundabout directly in front of you from which Maidenwell Road and Kestrel Lane lead off, here you will find the ‘Humber Stone’.
By Car:
From the North, take the A6 towards the City Centre (Loughborough Road) On reaching Red Hill Circle take the 2nd exit onto Watermead Way. At the junction with the A46 (Melton Road) turn left and then immediately right onto Troon Way. Continue along the road which will lead onto Thurmaston Lane. Continue along this road until you come to a junction, turn left onto Keyham Lane and follow the signs to Tesco Superstore.
From the East, take the A47 towards the City Centre. After passing Humberstone Park, take a right turn onto Humberstone Drive. Continue along this road which will lead onto Keyham Lane and follow the signs to Tesco Superstore.
From the South, take the A50 northbound towards the City Centre, continue through the City. Then take the outer ring road A594 (Vaughan Way) and continue along the ring road where you will lead onto Burleys way. Go over Burleys Flyover and onto St Matthew’s Way where you will reach the St Matthew’s Way/ Humberstone Road/St George’s Way roundabout. Take the 3rd exit onto Humberstone Road which will lead onto Uppingham Road. Continue along this route until you pass Humberstone Park, take the left hand turn onto Humberstone Road which will lead onto Keyham Lane and follow signs to Tesco Superstore.
From the West, take the A50 southbound towards the City Centre. Then take the outer ring road A594 (Vaughan Way) and continue along the ring road where you will lead onto Burley’s Way. Continue on this road which leads onto St Matthew’s Way (A594) until you reach the St Matthew’s Way/Humberstone Road/St George’s Way roundabout. Take the 1st exit onto Humberstone Road which will lead onto Uppingham Road. Continue along this route until you pass Humberstone Park, take the left hand turn onto Humberstone Road which will lead onto Keyham Lane and follow signs to Tesco Superstore.
