Location:
Humberstone Roundabout, on the Humberstone Road, Humberstone Gate East, St Matthews Way and St George’s Way Junction.
By Foot
From the Clock Tower in Leicester City Centre, Walk straight up Humberstone Gate West (pedestrian area) continue to walk along this road which will lead onto Humberstone Gate East and Humberstone Road. The roundabout is directly in front of you.
By Bus
Catch the No. 18 bus from Leicester City Centre to Humberstone Road. Alight from the bus just before Humberstone Roundabout which St Matthews Way, St Georges Way and Humberstone Road lead off.
By Car
From the North, take the A46 towards the City Centre (Melton Road, leading onto Belgrave Road). At the Belgrave roundabout take a left onto St Matthews Way (A594) which will lead you to the next roundabout (St Matthews Way / Humberstone Road / St George’s Way roundabout) This is where you will see the artwork.
From the East, take the A47 towards Leicester City Centre, until you reach the St Matthews Way/Humberstone Road/St George’s Way roundabout. Here you will see the artwork.
From the South, take the A6 towards the City Centre; follow the road (London Road) past the Train station and onto St George’s Way. Continue along St George’s Way (A594) until you reach the St Matthews Way/Humberstone Road/ St George’s Way roundabout. Here you will see the artwork.
From the West, Take the A50 southbound towards the City Centre. Then take the outer ring road A594 (Vaughan Way) and continue along the ring road where you will lead onto Burley’s Way. Continue on this road which leads onto St Matthew’s Way (A594) until you reach the St Matthew’s Way/Humberstone Road/ St George’s Way roundabout. Here you will see the artwork.
