How to get there

Location:
Off Upper Temple Walk and opposite Milton House, Milton Crescent. Turn right off Anstey Lane, follow the road round to the Ball Park and Garden, located next to a nursing home.

By Bus:
From the City Centre catch the Turquoise Line No. 74 bus to Anstey Lane. Alight just before Calver Hey Road which will be on your right hand side. Walk down Calver Hey Road and take the next right into Milton Crescent. The Community Garden and Ball Court is situated on your left hand side.

By Car:
From the North, take the A6 (Loughborough Road) towards the City Centre. At Red Hill Roundabout take the 4th Exit onto the B583 (Abbey Lane). Continue down this road until you come to Blackbird Road on the right hand side. Continue along Blackbird Road where you will come to Anstey Lane on the right hand side. Travel along Anstey Lane and take the 7th right onto Calver Hey Road and then take the 2nd right onto Milton Crescent where you can park and explore the Milton Crescent Ball Court and Community Garden.

From the East, take the A47 towards the City Centre. At St Matthews Way/ Humberstone Road/St George’s Way roundabout take the 3rd exit onto St Matthew’s Way. Travel along St Matthews Way and over Burleys Flyover. Take the next major tuning to the right onto St Margaret’s Way and steer to the left hand side onto Ravensbridge Drive. This will lead you onto Anstey Lane. Travel along Anstey Lane and take the 7th right onto Calver Hey Road and then take the 2nd right onto Milton Crescent where you can park and explore the Milton Crescent Ball Court and Community Garden.

From the South, take the A50 northbound towards the City Centre, continue through the City. Then take the outer ring road A594 (Vaughan Way) and continue along the ring road where you will lead onto Burleys way. Go over Burley’s Flyover. Take the next major tuning to the right onto St Margaret’s Way and steer to the left hand side onto Ravensbridge Drive. This will lead you onto Anstey Lane. Travel along Anstey Lane and take the 7th right onto Calver Hey Road and then take the 2nd right onto Milton Crescent where you can park and explore the Milton Crescent Ball Court and Community Garden.

From the West, take the A50 towards the City Centre (Groby Road). After approximately 5 miles take a left hand turning onto Blackbird Road and then take a 2nd left hand turn onto Anstey Lane. Travel along Anstey Lane and take the 7th right onto Calver Hey Road and then take the 2nd right onto Milton Crescent where you can park and explore the Milton Crescent Ball Court and Community Garden.
