Our accounts and business provision offers an opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge that employers are looking for and to equip you with the expertise you require if you are self-employed. Our programme this year includes manual and computerised bookkeeping at levels 1 and 2 using Microsoft Office and Sage accounts software. 

If you are looking to develop a career in administration we also offer Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications in Business Administration which will develop the essential skills and qualifications employers are looking for.

Business administration level 2 certificate

Course information

This course will help you to develop essential knowledge of how to carry out a range of administrative tasks such as providing administrative services and managing information and producing documents which can be useful in a range of contexts.

  

Principles of marketing level 2 certificate

Course information

This Level 2 course focuses on the principles of marketing theory, digital marketing and understanding the relationship between sales and marketing. This will help you build the knowledge needed to progress if you are seeking a career in this field.

 

Business administration level 3 diploma

Course information

Building on your level 2 qualification this course reflects the skills and knowledge required of those in an administrative role with accountability. It is also designed for those with experience in Business Administration but currently have no qualifications and would like to enhance their career progression.

 

Manual and computerised bookkeeping award level 1

Course information

This course will provide you with an introduction to the practical elements of financial record keeping, giving you the necessary skills to record manual financial transactions and carry out a range of basic day to day computerised bookkeeping routines. This course will also give you to an understanding of the importance of maintaining accuracy, security and data integrity. The qualification will prepare you for entry into a range of possible job roles in small and medium-sized organisations.

 

Manual and computeried bookkeeping certificate level 2

Course information

Following on from level 1 the IAB level 2 certificate in manual and computerised bookkeeping, is aimed at those who wish to further their studies of manual and computerised bookkeeping and gain a qualification at level 2. It is also aimed at those who have some practical knowledge and skills and wish to gain an accredited qualification in this subject. Owners of small businesses will find this qualification valuable as it gives coverage of the basic use of computerised software, suitable for the production of small business accounts.
