Introduction to counselling

Course information

This course is designed to give you a broad overview of the different counselling techniques available, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and humanistic, and to help you decide if counselling and being a counsellor is the right career path for you.

 

Healthcare support services level 2 certificate

Course information

By achieving this qualification you will show that you have competence in a range of healthcare support service skills. It could help you to progress in a wide range of supervised healthcare support roles including: Administrator, Healthcare assistant, Records Manager, Cleaner, Caretaker, and Hospital Porter. Assessment will be by a portfolio of evidence, practical demonstrations and assignments and you will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement as you need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.

 

Health and social care (adults) level 2 diploma

Course information

This qualification develops the knowledge and skills needed when working in a role with adults in health and social care environments. It covers a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures. You will need a work placement (paid or voluntary), for the duration of the course, working with adults in a social care capacity and must be qualified to Level 1 in English and Maths.

 

Health and social care (adults) level 3 diploma

Course information

This qualification develops the knowledge and skills needed when working in a senior role with adults in health and social care environments. Covering a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures. You may specialize your learning on this course as it has three pathways: Generic Health and Social Care; Dementia; Learning Disability. You will need a work placement (paid or voluntary), for the duration of the course, working with adults in a social care capacity and must be qualified to level 2 in English and Maths.
