College transport for 16-18 year olds
We do not provide any free travel assistance for 16-18 year old pupils. If you want to travel to college via either First or Arriva, you will need to contact them directly.
Want to travel with First or Arriva?
The cheapest option is likely to be buying a bus pass from them directly:
I'd like a bus pass with both providers
If the student needs to use both First and Arriva to get to school/college, we offer a joint provider bus pass. This would cost £470 a year for the 2017/18 academic year. Travel is restricted to college days only and the students specified route. To be eligible to buy a pass you must:
- live in Leicester, and;
- be aged between 16 and 18 at the start of the college year, and;
- live between three and 20 miles from the college.
Follow the quick link above to apply and pay for a joint provider bus pass.
I've already submitted my application but still need to pay
If you have already applied for a 16-18 year olds bus pass with us but did not make the payment of £470 on submission, you can pay for it now using the link below:
I've lost my bus pass
If you've lost your bus pass, please contact Leicestershire County Council on 0116 305 0002. There may be a small charge for replacing the pass.
