What is RSS (Really Simple Syndication)?
RSS allows you to stay up to date with the latest changes and stories on websites without having to visit the website each time.
The benefits of subscribing to RSS feeds are:
-
Save time. Instead of browsing every website on your daily list to see what's new, receive a digest of the changes from all your favourite websites directly to your desktop within seconds.
-
Stay informed. Monitor new content from your favourite websites throughout the day or week without constantly having to browse web pages.
How can I subscribe to RSS?
To get started with RSS, you will need 2 things:
- Find web sites offering RSS feeds such as leicester.gov.uk and look for the standard orange icon that indicates a web page is offering RSS feeds.
