The Fountain Room
The Fountain Room is our medium sized ceremony room and holds 40 people seated including the couple and their two statutory witnesses.
The Fountain Room is situated at the front of the Town Hall. Its large sash windows allow plenty of light to enter, affording wonderful views of the fountain in Town Hall Square that gives the room its name.

An additional £11 for each marriage/civil partnership certificate will apply.
VIP waiting rooms
Couples will also have access to one of our VIP waiting rooms. Couples can wait together, or separately if you do not wish to see each other before making a grand entrance. Both rooms have ensuite toilet facilities.
Photographic room
If you hold your ceremony in the Oak or Fountain room, you will have access to the photographic room after your ceremony for 15 minutes. There is plenty of room for guests to pose for photographs and a choice of either scenic backdrops or a neutral curtained wall to choose from.
