The Oak Room
The Oak Room is our largest ceremony room holding 80 people including the couple and their two statutory witnesses.
Formerly a court room housed in a grade II listing building, many of the classic original features have been retained such as the public gallery (now incorporating seating for your guests) and wooden canopy bearing a dragon coat of arms. The room is fully air conditioned and has a built-in sound system.

Marriage/civil partnership certificate
An additional £11 for each marriage/civil partnership certificate will apply.
VIP waiting rooms
Couples will also have access to one of our VIP waiting rooms. Couples can wait together, or separately if you do not wish to see each other before making a grand entrance. Both rooms have ensuite toilet facilities.
Photographic room
If you hold your ceremony in the Oak or Fountain room, you will have access to the photographic room after your ceremony for 15 minutes. There is plenty of room for guests to pose for photographs and a choice of either scenic backdrops or a neutral curtained wall to choose from.
