Homeless hostel or night shelter residents

Homeless people living in hostels or night shelter residents are not counted as adult residents if they have no home other than a short stay hostel or night shelter that offers communal accommodation.

Visiting forces

Members of visiting forces and certain international institutions are not counted as adult residents.

How do I claim a reduction?

Please email the information to us, at council.tax@leicester.gov.uk, quoting the council tax reference number and address concerned.
