The Job Service Partnership (JSP) is helping people into real jobs by bringing those seeking work together with employers who need people to fill their vacancies.

 

The city council, together with other major local employers such as ASDA and De Montfort University, has signed up to the JSP Job Interview Guarantee Scheme.

 

It means that we fill our regular vacancies more quickly from a pool of prospective workers, readily matching the job specification.

 

The scheme also provides support to both employers and new workers by smoothing the occasional problems that can arise when people first start.

 

 

 

 

 

The partnership includes the city council, Job Centre Plus, the Leicestershire Learning and Skills Council, Next Step, Connexions and a number of local employers such as Everards and Sainsburys.
