Betting
To operate a Betting Shop you will need:
- an operating licence, and any personal licences appropriate to your business, from the Gambling Commission
- a premises licence from Leicester City Council

In general, the only default condition that apply to premises licences relate to gambling hours. For betting shops, the default hours for gambling on the premises are 07.00 to 22.00 every day all year round.
A Betting Premises Licence authorises a maximum of 4 Category B2 to D gaming machines to be available on the premises.
