Responsible Authorities
Responsible authorities are defined in the Gambling Act 2005. These authorities are able to comment on applications made under the Act, and apply for a review of a licence in certain circumstances.
Certain application notices need to be served on all or some responsible authorities within 7 days of making the application to Leicester City Council.

Applicants do not need to serve notice on the remaining responsible authorities in Leicester. The Local Safeguarding Childrens Board are served via the Police.
