Religious Institutions are eligible for free refuse and recycling collection.  The City Council determines a religious organisation on the basis that they are a place of worship accessible to all.

These properties will be supplied with a refuse container up to a maximum capacity of one 1100 litre bin.  Bins remain the property of the Council and are only replaced if damaged through our contractor's negligence.

If the bin is vandalised or stolen the organisation has to pay for replacement or repair.

 

Recycling can be done using either coloured 140 litre bins or green boxes.
