Corporate Equality Strategy & Action Plan
The Corporate Equality Strategy and Action Plan was adopted by Cabinet in April 2003 and replaces the Council’s previous statement of Equal Opportunities in Service Delivery and Employment and Statement on Race Equality. The new strategy combines both of these statements as well as broadening the policy focus to ensure all aspects of equal opportunities are considered for service delivery and policy development. The Strategy’s Equal Opportunities Statement sets out how we will promote equal opportunities both as an employer and service provider. The Action Plan sets out our equalities targets and how we will deliver them.
